This is a trailer for our One for the Murphy's project. Click below!
1. Why did you make this book and do you have a backstory or any connection with the book?
2. Is there anyone in the book that compares to your life or personality?
3. How and why did you make these characters funny, mean, sporty or nice in the book?
Throughout the book there are some changes and plot twists. I'm focusing on Carley. Carley's change was " need help right now" to "I want to stay here mommy!" because the Murphy's was trying to get along with her but it was kind of working and then a few weeks later she got along with them. My prediction is that Carleyis wanting to stay with the Murphy's and her friends rather than coming back to her Mom.
Hi Sunrise! Today was awesome and a little bit of the book was spoiled, but okay. I was very thoughtful with the questions you/they asked. Since I didn't ask any questions, I'm going to ask you here and you can answer it in the comments below!
Three questions I want answered are:
Things that make sense in the book:
Things that had happened (with a png._image):
What happened in chapter 1 was when Carley Connors, age 12, was when her mother was sent to hospital and Connor came to a foster home. She wasn't used to the house at all since she lived in a damp, run-down house, her parents weren't that happy because Connor injured her mother.
Chapter 7 was about a flashback about her parents and her old home. She was running away from her foster home when Daniel, older than his other brothers, was telling her that he didn't like her that much and wants her to go away. While she had her flashback, she was thinking about her mother trying to take the basketball from her until she sidestepped out of the way and got her mom injured. When her dad came home, from his work, he was trying to catch her because of what she had done to her mother. Then something grabbed her leg and thought that her mother needed help, but no, she said "Honey! I got her! I got her from the ankle!"
how i felt about this chapter...
How I felt about this chapter was terrifying and very very angry because Connor was only playing the ball inside the house that was it. Then the whole we-are-angry-to-her kind of thing was going on and on till they caught her. I wanted to read more about it since the chapter ended at a cliff hanger. :(
