Dear, Teachers of Kalamak Indian Residential School,
I have heard that you have been teaching kids not to be themselves by doing deliberate things to them, such as using belts to punish them when they do something wrong. Instead of that, why can’t you just give them detentions after school, but not too many hours, or just give away their free time after. I also have heard that you don’t give them the amount of food they need everyday, you just give them food scraps and small pieces of bread and bacon. Let them have a cafeteria so that they wont be that hungry of thirsty. Let them have their free time also so that they can be with friends and let them have contact with each other and their family. And lastly, please give them some time with their own family and read their own parents’ name.
The protocols that the school uses make the students very uncomfortable at this state and make them very unsatisfied with their own learning because they are hurt and hungry. So if you are willing to follow the different types of protocols on the last paragraph, you will very much likely be in a less wanted state.
Sincerely, Angelo, the person that read Seepeetza’s Diary or Martha Stone’s Diary.
